Kick Digital was tasked with taking their existing website, built using the Joomla! content management system, and creating a bespoke content management system which met the operational and performance requirements of the business. This included a custom built email newsletter platform to handle their daily and weekly campaigns which are sent to over 21,000 subscribers.
A key element of the project was to ensure 100% availability of the website to avoid loss of traffic. This was achieved by migrating to a more reliable Cloud hosting provider and implementing a High Availability configuration of both the database and web application layers.
